HQME for the solution to the saturation of mobile networks
The group of companies HQME presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona a proposal to develop IEEE P2200, focused on improving the management of audiovisual content downloaded through mobile networks and to based on "preventive downloads"

The HQME is made by SanDisk, SoftBank Mobile gadgets product, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Orange, and aim to improve the user experience in mobile multimedia downloads by reducing network congestion. And how they want to? How faster and better infrastructure?, How efficient codecs?. No, the brilliant idea that occurred to them is to download the content on mobile phones gadgets product when they are less busy networks and devices have battery full (or are connected to the mains) as a cache.


That is, they want to anticipate what we will want to see in the future, and will gradually downloading our terminals when the conditions listed above, or when it detects that the terminal is connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
